The last ten years had been nothing short of a roller coaster for Doctor Who. From very narrowly avoiding the chopping block, to earning new found respect from the general public once again, it's safe to say that the 1990s had been a saving grace for the show. As the year 2000 began, at the dawn of a new century, there was no doubt that Doctor Who would return for new adventures.
